  FlexiBUILDity (adj.) the ability to be flexible when designing a new home.

When we began to develop Bailey's Glen Active Adult retirement community, we spent a great deal of time visiting other communities to decide what features were important to buyers. While it was easy to find that many builders were satisfying the buyer's  need for amenities such as clubhouses and swimming pools, we were surprised to discover that many builders were less focused on meeting the buyer's  needs when it came to their home.

In speaking with many active adult consumers, we began to understand that these experienced home buyers were very clear in their needs and wants in a new home. Not only was it essential that the home function and live well, it was also important that it was personalized to meet their specific needs.

It became immediately obvious that many production builders were delivering cookie-cutter-style homes with little or no features or ability to personalize.

While we don't offer full custom homes, we determined we could work with our buyers and accommodate many changes that other builders are unwilling to do. At the same time, we can and will deliver a home with exceptional quality.

While you won't find "FlexiBUILDity" in the dictionary, it's our way of saying that we are listening and that we understand you know what you want in your home. We are willing to be flexible and deliver your home the way YOU want it.

Modify a Home Plan

You think you have found the perfect  home plan but it needs a few minor changes. At Bailey’s Glen we work with active adult buyers to create a home that works for you.  We are not a full custom builder but provide “flexiBUILDity” in our home building process.  Moving a wall or changing doors and windows are the types or requests we are prepared to accommodate.

Space for Hobbies and Interests

We know that exploring hobbies and interests are an important part of your retirement life. Finding a home that provides the space to do that can often be a challenge.  You want a home that functions around your life and it’s our goal to help you create it. Need a little extra space for quilting or a sewing room or want to extend a garage for a woodshop or storage? We can make it happen.

Special Requests

While we may not be able to satisfy every request, our goal is to be open to your wishes. If you have any special physical needs we will work closely with you to insure that your retirement home functions appropriately for you.

Options & Features

We offer a large selection optional features and products for your home. There are times when a customer would like a particular brand or color style that is not in our selection. If it is easily available and can be installed within our parameters we will consider these requests. Or if a particular item comes standard with our home and you would prefer a lesser value product we would be happy to credit you the difference.
